Advantage West Midlands is the Regional Development Agency (RDA) for the West Midlands. One of nine RDAs in England, AWM was established to transform the West Midlands through sustainable economic development.
Advantage West Midlands has an annual budget of more than £300 million to invest in the economic development of the West Midlands and, at any one time, is managing around 2,500 projects which are changing the lives of people right across our region.
Central to AWM’s employment and skills strategy is the requirement to get more graduates working in the private sector throughout the region. In 2008, AWM signed appointed West Midlands’ based recruitment company Certes to deliver the Grad Central initiative helping companies across the region access the very best in graduate talent.
